Veya: the whole website for a company that takes people somewhere
A tour operator’s whole website, designed page by page and ready on day one. Veya is a WordPress theme for small-group tour operators, travel agencies and destination companies. Journeys with their departures and day-by-day itineraries, destinations, day experiences, tailor-made trips, booking with deposits, reviews, offers and a blog share one clear style: a pale, airy page with white cards, one light sans, big photographs, the sun as the one warm colour, the face and first name of the guide on every journey, and a wave where every block of colour ends.
Built on the free Elementor. No Pro licence and no paid add-ons: every word, colour and gap is yours to change in the editor.

- Booking built in: departures with places left, a deposit and a date for the rest, early-bird prices, waiting lists for full dates and a reference for every booking
- Pay online if you like, through the free WooCommerce: the deposit or the whole price, then a link to pay the rest, with any payment gateway WooCommerce offers
- Everything editable without code: every word, list, number and link in Elementor or in the entry’s own fields, and each journey’s admin screen holds exactly what its page shows
- A Style tab on every Veya widget, and site-wide page width, side margins, space between sections and corners
- Right to left ready, for Arabic, Hebrew and every right-to-left language
- Every request in one list: bookings, waiting lists, tailor-made enquiries and messages, kept in your dashboard and emailed to you
- Day and night on every page, designed together, never inverted
- One-click demo import that lets you choose the homepage your site opens on
- 8 base colours in Global Colors and every type role in Global Fonts, reaching the whole site, header and footer included
- Light and private: the font is served from your own site, and each page loads only the section styles it uses
Four homepages, four ways in
Start from the homepage closest to your company. The demo brings all four, and each has its own opening and its own story, not the same page in another colour.
- Travel and tourism: journeys and days out together, opening on pine and cream over the mountains.
- Daylight: the week walked across a drawing, the sun setting as you scroll.
- Full-bleed: photographs edge to edge, journeys and days out side by side.
- The departures hall: the board of departures, dates by month and booking in three steps.
Every page a travel company needs
Each page was designed for what it has to say, and the lists come in three designs so you can keep the one that suits you.
- Journeys, in three designs: every journey with search and filters, the journeys drawn as routes, and the journeys by travel style.
- Destinations, in three designs: the countries by region, by month, and as a mosaic.
- Day experiences, in three designs: every day out, by the hour, and by host.
- Tailor-made, in three designs: a form, a sentence to fill in, and trip ideas you have planned before.
- Dates and offers, in three designs: the dates and offers together, as coupons, and as fares.
- A page for every journey, destination and day out, each in one of three designs: a journey as a column beside its booking card, as days that stack as you scroll, or drawn town by town; a country by region with its months as a chart, in halves, or as postcards; a day out beside its booking bar, drawn place by place, or told as a story.
- The company: booking, reviews, the blog and its posts, about, help, contact, booking terms, privacy and a friendly page not found.
Booking, built in
- Dates from your content. A journey’s departures each carry their own date, price and places left; a day out runs on the weekdays you tick, from the day its season starts; a special date is one day or a few.
- The price worked out in the open: travellers, a room to yourself, days out added to a journey, children at their share on family days, then what is paid today and what is due later.
- A deposit holds a place, with the rest due a number of days before departure. You set the per cent and the days, or take the whole price.
- Full dates become waiting lists, and departures with only a few places left are marked.
- Every booking gets a reference, is kept under Requests with where it stands (new, replied, confirmed, paid, cancelled), and is emailed to you and, if you like, to the traveller.
- Paying online is a choice. With WooCommerce active, the deposit or the whole price becomes an order paid through any gateway WooCommerce offers, guests included, and the booking is marked paid when the order is. Send a link to pay the rest from the booking itself. WooCommerce’s payment, checkout and account pages wear Veya’s design, by day and at night. Without WooCommerce, a booking is a request you confirm yourself.
Built for the way a travel company works
- Journeys, destinations, days out, guides, reviews, offers, trip ideas and special dates as their own sections of WordPress, with the fields a travel company needs: itineraries day by day, places to stay, what is included, best months, afternoon highs, visas and plugs, start times and meeting points.
- Led by someone who lives there. Choose the guide on a journey or a day out, and their face and first name follow it onto cards and pages.
- A designed page for every new entry. Add a journey and it wears its design straight away: edit a design once in Elementor and every journey wearing it follows.
- Veya widgets for Elementor for the lists you keep adding to (journeys, destinations, guides, blog posts) and for the pieces Elementor has no widget for, such as a figure that counts up, the drawn marks, a region across the page and the months each country is at its best.
- Forms that work on day one: booking, tailor-made, contact and the newsletter, with spam protection built in, sending even from a cached page.
- A contact form you build yourself: add, remove and reorder fields (text, email, phone, a date, a list, tick boxes, a consent box and more), mark them required, show a field only for a given answer, choose where it is sent and where the visitor goes next.
- What you edit is what shows. A journey’s included lines, its questions and its itinerary are its own fields, in the order the page shows them, and a box beside them says where everything else on the page comes from. Totals such as “All 8 journeys” are counted from your content.
Elementor, free and global
- Every section is an Elementor container with Elementor’s own Heading, Text Editor, Button and Image widgets inside, so you change words where you read them.
- Global Colors: the eight base colours of the palette, plus an error and a confirmation colour. Every other colour, from the hairlines to the muted words and the cream, is worked out from them, so one change repaints the whole site.
- Global Fonts by role, with a size in pixels for desktops, laptops, tablets and phones. Change a role once and that kind of text follows everywhere.
- A Veya panel on every container: choose its ground from the palette, give it a wave or a torn edge at its top or foot, and choose how it arrives as the page reaches it.
- Global layout in one place: the page width and breakpoints in Elementor’s Site Settings, and in Veya, Settings the side margins, the space between sections and the corners of cards, photographs and buttons, for desktops, tablets and phones. Fields hold plain numbers you can read, never code.
- A Style tab on every Veya widget: its text, headings, accent, cards, lines, links and buttons, its fonts and its corners, from your Global Colors and Global Fonts or your own.
- Your own header or footer built in Elementor and saved as a template, for the whole site or one page, in place of Veya’s own.
- Section templates in Elementor’s library, ready to drop into any page, and the designs of every entry’s page.
Day and night, on every page
- One tap to switch. Visitors change between day and night from the header, and their choice is remembered.
- Follows the visitor’s device until they choose, with no flash of the wrong colours as a page opens.
- Start at night if you prefer, for everyone who has not chosen.
- Your own night palette: each base colour has its night twin, changed one by one.
Care in the details
- Calm motion: things arrive as the page reaches them, waves swell and flow, a wave passes between pages, and the sun rises behind the sea on a visit’s first page. Each can be switched off, and visitors who ask their device for less motion see none of it.
- Made for keyboards and screen readers, with a skip link, visible focus and menus you can use without a mouse.
- Light pages: the font is one file served from your own site, WordPress’s block styles stay off pages built with Elementor, and photographs arrive at the size they are shown.
- Ready for any language: translation templates (.pot) for the theme and the plugin, and set up for WPML and Polylang, every Veya widget’s words included.
- Right to left: the whole design mirrors for right-to-left languages, its motion, menus, sliders and arrows included, and so does the dashboard.
