Canvas is a multi-purpose WordPress theme and website builder with AI built in. Pick one of 88 demos, import it in a click, then change anything from the block settings in the editor WordPress already gives you, with AI on hand to write your copy and create your images. No separate page builder plugin, no shortcodes, no locked layouts.
Canvas comes from SemiColonWeb, the team behind the Canvas HTML template, which more than 75,000 customers have used over the last 10 years. The WordPress version carries that design language into real Gutenberg blocks you can edit and reuse.

88 demos, each a complete website
Every demo installs as a working website. Where the design calls for them, it also brings forms, products, projects, events or content types of its own: a real estate demo arrives with properties, a medical demo with doctors and departments, a music demo with tracks, albums and artists.
The grid above shows every one of them, across 16 categories.
A Setup Wizard that finishes the job
After you activate the theme, the Setup Wizard walks you through nine steps: license, an optional child theme, your demo, the plugins it needs, recommended plugins, the import itself and your SEO basics. Skip any step you do not need, and run the wizard again whenever you like.
Import a demo whenever you like
Every demo is also available under Canvas > Demo Import, where you can search and filter by category. Each import is recorded in Import History, so you can roll it back and try another.
Built for the block editor
Pages open inside their real template, with the header and footer in place, so what you edit is what your visitors see. Everything on the page is a block with a settings panel, so you never need to touch code or edit HTML by hand.

- Every Canvas block has its own settings, with a short note under each control explaining what it does
- Shared advanced options on every block, core blocks included: entrance animations, custom CSS, custom attributes, and visibility by device, user role or site setting
- Save a block’s settings as the default for new ones, and reuse style presets across the site
- Each header, footer, page title, slider, hero or popup is its own item, edited once and reused across pages
- Works with the Site Editor, templates and template parts
Build headers from blocks
Arrange logos, menus, search, cart, social links, buttons and contact details in rows, then pick a layout: transparent, semi-transparent, floating, sticky, or sticky only when scrolling up. Top bars, mega menus and side panels are built the same way, footers and copyright bars too, and a page can swap in its own top bar.
Write and illustrate with AI
Describe your business once in Theme Options: what you do, your tone of voice, your audience and the words to avoid. After that, the AI button on text fields and in the block toolbar writes or rewrites copy that sounds like your site, and image fields can create a picture straight into the media library at the shape the field needs.
Each activated site includes 200 text and 30 image generations a month. Generation runs on our servers, so it needs an activated license and an internet connection.
Site-wide settings in one place
Theme Options holds 533 settings in 24 tabs: General, Header, Page Title, Blog, Portfolio, Events, Shop, Wishlist, Footer, Typography, Widgets, Color Scheme, Page Transitions, Side Panel, Social Media, Forms, 404 Page, GDPR / Cookies, AI, API Keys, Misc, Permalinks, Blocks and Import / Export.
- Set a default once and every matching block follows it, while a block that sets its own value keeps it
- Choose the address of portfolio, events and every demo content type; old links redirect to the new address
- Turn off any Canvas block you do not need: it leaves the inserter and stops loading its files
- Export the whole configuration, or save a named snapshot before a big change and restore it later
Fast and search-ready from the start
- Each page loads only the files its blocks use
- 35 performance switches: lazy loading, deferred and delayed scripts, font preloading and local fonts, image limits, database cleanup and WooCommerce trimming
- SEO without an extra plugin: titles and descriptions written from your content, XML sitemap, robots rules, 16 schema types, social cards and analytics
A complete WooCommerce store
- Blocks for every part of the product page: gallery, price, rating, tabs, add to cart, related products and cross-sells
- Cart and checkout blocks, add to cart without reloading, and a header mini cart
- Colour swatches, a wishlist and a catalogue mode for stores that do not sell online
- 21 shop demos that arrive with products, categories and a working cart
Right on every screen
Every demo is responsive, and right-to-left styles are included, so Arabic, Hebrew and Persian sites mirror correctly.
